Miss Fit Philosophy
I have concluded from years of fitness and nutrition consulting that habit is what determines success. When physical activity and healthy eating become a routine and part of your daily life, you’ve made it. Health is not a quick fix that can be bought or reached in two weeks. It’s a lifestyle choice you consciously make and follow to reach lifelong success in health and wellness.
Over the years, I have found the most effective and beneficial results have come from a simple approach towards changing fitness and/or nutrition habits. I practice, as well as teach, a “Back to Basics” philosophy to reach a healthier lifestyle.
For example, striving to choose foods in their natural state (no processing, packaging) is important. Also, activity and exercise do not have to involve costly gym memberships and/or expensive equipment. I teach my clients how to exercise with minimal or no equipment, so if they’re stuck in a closet they can still workout…no excuses!
Keeping health goals simple and realistic always proves to be the winning strategy.
