The summer is always a great time to get outside and enjoy your favourite sports and/or activities. Instead of heading to the gym to get in a workout, why not take advantage of Calgary’s pathways and trails to work up a sweat. A fabulous workout to try is the infamous stairs at Memorial Drive and Centre Street! Climb the stairs and at the top do a few pushups, sit ups and lunges, then repeat as many times as you can. Remember to stretch for 10 – 15 minutes afterwards as well, you’ll feel awesome after this workout….guaranteed! Yay Summer!
